Description

This tender Chicken Rolls with Potato recipe is the perfect dish for a party, and a favorite among kids! It is also super easy to make and still tastes delicious after reheating in the microwave.

Ingredients

Ingredients

  • 200 g (48 pieces) U.S. Frozen Potatoes (shoestring)
  • 6 slices (300 g) Chicken Tender Meat
  • 1 teaspoon Consommé (granules) [A]
  • 1/2 teaspoon Powdered Cheese [A]
  • 1/2 teaspoon Garlic Powder [A]
  • 1/4 teaspoon Herb salt [A]
  • 1/2 teaspoon Olive oil
  • Salt and Black pepper, as needed

Preparation
Prep Time: 10min | Cook Time: 25min

  • Remove the tendon from the chicken tender meat, cover with cling wrap and beat with a rolling pin until approximately 2 mm thick (if no rolling pin is available, use the back of a knife).
  • Cut the thinned chicken tender meat slices into strips of 12 pieces.
  • Mix [A] in a bowl large enough to also include the potatoes.
  • Line the frozen fries as flatly as possible on a plate and heat for 2 minutes in the microwave oven (600 W). Immediately after heating the fries, put them in the bowl with ingredients [A] and cover the fries with the ingredients by shaking the bowl.
  • Sprinkle the chicken tender meat with a small amount of salt and pepper. Then, wrap the fries in groups of 4 with each piece of chicken tender.
  • Heat olive oil in a frying pan, and place the chicken rolls with the chicken tender meat seam facing down. Cook for 2 minutes with the lid on at a high heat. Flip over the chicken tender meat, put the lid back on and cook at a high heat for 3 minutes.
  • Serve on a plate and sprinkle with black pepper. It can be decorated with frill lettuce, cherry tomatoes and lemon (it is also delicious when topped with squeezed lemon).
