This easy and comforting stir-fried chicken with U.S. tater tots recipe is packed with texture and flavor. It’s got juicy chicken, crispy potato tater tots and the smoky savory-sweet sauce that will light up your day.



  • 300g Chicken Breast, diced
  • ½ Red Bell Pepper, diced
  • ½ Yellow Bell Pepper, diced
  • ½ Green Bell Pepper, diced
  • 50g Onion, diced
  • 100g U.S. Frozen Tater Tots
  • 20g Spring onion, chopped
  • 10g Coriander, chopped

Stir-fry sauce:

  • 15g BBQ sauce
  • 15g ketchup
  • 15g Chili Sauce
  • 20g Oyster Sauce
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Prep Time: 15min | Cook Time: 15min

  • Deep-fry the frozen U.S. tater tots, or you can also air-fry them at 2000C for 10-15 minutes until golden and crispy.
  • Make the stir fry sauce by mixing together BBQ sauce, ketchup, chili sauce, oyster sauce, and a little bit of salt and pepper.
  • Stir-fry chicken in a sauce pan with onions, and red bell peppers, yellow bell peppers, and green bell peppers. Once everything is thoroughly cooked, add the fried U.S. tater tots and stir fry sauce, and combine well.
  • Add salt and pepper to taste, then add spring onions and coriander.
  • Place stir-fried chicken with tater tots on a plate and garnish with coriander, then serve.  

*Note: Deep fry or air-fry the U.S. tater tots while they are still frozen
