U.S. Potato Sidewinders and Pickled Ginger Salad

  • U.S. frozen potato sidewinders - 3 cups
  • Pickled ginger, julienned - ½ cup
  • Toasted black & white sesame seeds - 3 tablespoons
  • Garlic cloves, minced - 4 cloves
  • Canola oil - 3 tablespoons
  • Cabbage,  shredded - 2 ½ cups
  • Green tomatoes, thinly sliced - 3
  • Roasted chickpea powder - 1 ½ - 2 tablespoons
  • Dried shrimp powder - 6 tablespoons
  • Long hot fresh chilies, seeded & julienned - 5 - 6
  • Pickled ginger liquid - 1 tablespoon
  • Lime, juiced - ½ a lime (about 2 tablespoons)
  • Shrimp sauce - 1 tablespoon
  • Salt, to taste
  • Sunflower oil, for frying the U.S. Frozen Sidewinders

Prep Time: 10min | Cook Time: 10min

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet over medium-high heat, heat up the oil. Add the U.S. Frozen Sidewinders  and fry for about 4 – 5 minutes until the potatoes are golden and crispy. Strain the excess oil. 
  2. Divide all ingredients into 2 -sized bowls. Top evenly with the fried U.S. Sidewinders. Mix well and season to get a , sour, – spicy, and – salty taste. Sprinkle with black & white toasted sesame seeds before serving and eat fresh.
